We can’t help but be jealous of the pro golfers and celebrities alike that are heading to the celebrated Pebble Beach Resorts in just a few short weeks for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. So, we figured, while we’re drooling over the celebrated Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula CC Shore Course, we might as well keeping dreaming, so the Green Sleeve Team compiled our top 5 bucket list courses. Drumroll please…

5. Pebble Beach Golf Links; Pebble Beach, CA

The only public course on this list boasts some of the highest greens fees in the world, but boy, is this stunning course worth it. With nine holes resting just above crashing waves, Pebble Beach Golf Links is an exhilarating experience and “every golfer deserves to play ‘Pebble’ at least once in his or her life.”

4. Shinnecock Hills; Southamption, NY

Playing at Shinnecock Hills is like going back in time: This legendary course is generally regarded as the oldest links in the United States, established in 1891, with the oldest clubhouse in the country, built in 1892. In fact, the original Shinnecock course was so excellently designed and executed that its architecture hasn’t been edited in decades.

3. Cypress Point Club; Pebble Beach, CA

Cypress Point is one of the world’s most renowned—and most exclusive—courses. Well-known for its 15th, 16th and 17th holes, this course takes players on a breathtaking journey through coastal dunes and the Del Monte forest before wrapping up on the rocky Pacific coastline.

You probably could’ve guessed it: The Green Sleeve team’s No. 1 is the Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Valley, New Jersey, what many consider the best course on Earth. Established in 1913, the course was designed mostly by founder George Crump, with input from notable architects from around the world. Pine Valley will truly test your skills, and every club in your bag.
