With a cast led by Matt Damon, Will Smith and Charlize Theron, you know this movie has got to be good! The Legend of Bagger Vance tells the story of a down-on-his-luck golfer who returns from WWII and tries to turn around his game and his life with the help of a very special caddy.

4. The Greatest Game Ever Played (Rated PG)
The Greatest Game Ever Played is an underdog story, based on the true events of the 1913 US Open, wherein young, working-class Francis Ouimet defeated not only his competitors, but his idol, too. We recommend watching this movie if you’re ever in need of a pick-me-up; it’s sure to deliver.

3. Tin Cup (Rated R)
Kevin Costner plays “Tin Cup,” a washed-up golfer and driving range worker trying to qualify for the US Open to win the affection of his rival’s girlfriend. Costner, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and Rene Russo bring laughs, drama and romance to the course in this ‘90s classic.

2. Happy Gilmore (Rated PG-13)
We all know and love this hilarious flick, featuring one of Adam Sandler’s most memorable roles to date. And if you need help convincing your date to watch it, Happy Gilmore can totally pass for a rom-com: it portrays Happy Gilmore’s quest to beat his rival, find love and win the cash prize that will help his grandmother keep her home.
